An Amber Alert for a toddler missing from Colorado Springs since late Monday night was cancelled Wednesday afternoon.
Colorado Springs Police had been looking for Essence Lovato, 2, who was last seen with Tonia Shetina, 38, an acquaintance of the child's mother. Police said Essence's mother gave Shetina permission to drive the child and drop her off at the girl's grandfather's home.
According to a news release, Colorado Springs police received a tip just after 3 p.m.that Tonia Shetina was at a particular home just south of Fountain.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., CSPD Violent Crimes Investigators and El Paso County deputies responded to the home and safely recovered little Essence.

Shetina was at the house.Earlier, police described the missing girl as having brown hair, down to the middle of her back, and brown eyes. She is about 2-feet tall and weighs about 28 pounds.
She was wearing a short sleeve pink and black striped shirt and black leggings with colored polka dots, a grey cheetah jacket with a hood and white socks.
Shetina was driving a 2000 Green Honda Accord with Colorado temporary tag 592716K.
Shetina also goes by the names of Tonia Marie Klotzbech or Tonia Marie Klotzbach, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records. CBI records describe her as 5-feet 7-inches tall and 135 pounds. She has hazel eyes and red hair, multiple tattoos and a scar near her left eye.
